Last week, MEC attended NACAC’s national conference (NACAC is an acronym for National Association for College Admission Counseling, and is pronounced NAC-AC). It is an annual event that brings together high school guidance counselors and college admissions counselors for continuing education and networking. This year, it was held in Boston, MA, with more than 7,500 professionals participating.
We met with representatives from admissions departments of colleges and universities throughout the US, collecting the most current information on their institutions and adding to our list of connections.
We thought you might appreciate this fun picture of Doodie Meyer, the president of MEC, taken at the conference. A little tidbit that you might not know…Doodie is one of the past presidents of NACAC and continues to be active as a volunteer and leader within the organization.
